Found 6 queens clinging to a leaf near a Seattle WA pool. I measured one, it was about 8-9mm. These are the best photographs I could get unfortunately, but hopefully they are good enough. You can see the hairs on the gaster fairly well in one of them, comparing them to photos of tetramorium queens I'm thinking that might be my species here but I'd love someone more knowledgeable to confirm.

All of them have already laid a clutch of eggs and are carefully tending to them so I'm thinking they're fertilized. Here's hoping they are tetramorium because that's the species that I've been wanting to start a colony of!
