Colony in a Walnut

I flicked over a walnut, not expecting anything. I literally flicked it, and eggs flew everywhere. I felt awful, but I still looked for a queen. There wasn't one anywhere. The workers are about 3-4 mm long.

Not sure... Either she died and the colony was living on its on own, or when you flicked it open the queen was on the piece you flicked and she went flying away :(

I would have kept the whole thing if I found the queen. I only have a single omni nest and I can't decide what to put in it.
