You would be right. I do see two petioles (those hump things. ) This is Monomorium sp..
In the eastern US, it is far more likely this is M. emarginatum.

"spp." stands for "species pluralis", by the way. This would be appropriate if we were talking about two or more different Monomorium sp. at the same time. Monomorium sp. is what you are going for.
