Im thinking drones but just in case...
OK, so last night I found/seen a bunch of these on the ground around a light pole at my work around 9pm. I'm thinking they are just males but I caught a few just in case and the first two pictures are of one that died last night. The last one is one of them that still lives. They are 9mm.
Thank you for any info my friends.

First two are definitely drones, but could you provide a clearer pic on the last one?

I may have a clear picture but also has another species as well in the picture. Which I need to find out if they are drones as well. Give me just a moment to post a couple more pictures.

I'm almost home to where I could take a better picture but this is really the only other one I have at the moment. The bigger one is the one you are asking about.

Apologizes, perhaps you should reach somebody else, since I have zero expertise when it comes to identifying American ants.
But, the vibes that are transpiring me suggest that these, maybe are [Camponotus] drones.

Meh, you'll apprehend them when you least anticipate them.
