Hi I just found a queen and wanted to post her ASAP to see if I can get an ID on her to find out if she is claustral or not. She was found in Abilene Texas, on Sunday 2-19-17 around 2pm, she is around 1/4inch long, below "should" be some pictures of her.

We need measurements in millimeters, though I can rule out multiple subfamilies from the pics.

One..? There are 25 millimeters in an inch. A one mm queen would be ridiculously tiny. There's a bacteria that size.

I don't think so. Their queens are 8mm. I'm thinking more of an Aphenogaster.

Can you get us a picture of your queen's petioles from the side?

The 1st pic is going to be the best I can do :/ sorry, about 10min ago I attached her test tube to an uncle Milton's ant farm :) I decided to do a study. I caught another queen just like this one in Jan, she now has a ball of eggs, so I figured this new queen could go into the ant farm and start her chamber in there. If she doesn't make it then I'm ok with that. But I hope she does :)
