Size: queen was about 8-9mm, workers are about 1-1 1/2 mm

When: queen was found at around 8:30 and wild nests are active full day

Where: the queen was found at a public swimming pool and wild nests have been found in a wild field, Heber City, Utah, elevation around 8k feet.

Appearance: workers are a brownish yellow with dark brown gasters, the queen has a bright yellow gaster and becomes a lighter brown at the mesothorax and has a dark brown head

Behaviour: worker was just exploring the test tube calmly

Picture(s): https://imgur.com/a/zd47Urd

Additionally: the pictures with the nuptial queens/alataes were right next to a Pogonomermex barbatus colony (about a meter long left to right) and that the nest entrance is about the size of a US. quarter

It looks like a yellow crazy ant queen, I am not sure on this at all because they are not here and I have not done any research.
Why don’t more people like ants?
Is anyone from Wyoming who wants to sell ants?

You can email me about ants at Tucker.reynolds13@gmail.com

I did a bit of research an they are deferentially Solenopsis molesta, thank you for helping me figure out what queen I have and I look forward to raising the colony if she doesn't drown herself first.
