Queens caught in east Texas
Hello, I caught these queens in my backyard and believe they are Argentine ants. Just needed help identifying them, thanks in advanced.

Either Solenopsis invicta or Solenopsis geminata.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

Yeh, I had one of my friends reach out to me and let me know that. Wasn’t even thinking about that. But exciting, I have kept them before so I am ready for it!

Alright, I'm not sure who to tell between S. invicta and S. geminata.

Re: Queens caught in east Texas
I’m 90% sure invicta and gem are both incorrect
I have to go with S Aurea or xyloni here
It could also be S richerti invicta hybrid. Just stick with S geminata group
When you accidentally reply to yourself…
