Could you get a photo under bright light or with flash for the first ant so I can see the thorax color better? I am thinking Camponotus novaeboracensis, but I want to be sure.oniraigeki wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2023 11:49 amHi Guys, I found 2 Queens today, in the pictures you can see the Queens, first queen has a messure of 13 - 14 CM, looks like how my Camponotus Novaeboracensis the second queen has the messure of 15 - 17 CM. I believe the second is Camponotus pennsylvanicus.
Nice finds!
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
