13th February, Singapore
Hi, I need help identifying the genus of this ant and if it might be a queen.
It's about 10mm long and yellow and brownish in color. It has a large gaster but not that big of a thorax so I'm unsure if it's a queen.
I'm thinking Anoplolepis but I'm not sure.

Just a fat Camponotus worker
Re: 13th February, Singapore
She isn't fat it's just that her gaster is distended because of eating and/or drinking.

Nope. Here's a link to a map of their range; both native and invasive: http://antmaps.org/?mode=species&species=Prenolepis.imparis.
