Help with identifying the species your ants

Need Queen ID!

[Size: About 7-9mm, not exact.
When: Wednesday 22 November 2022, 6:20 PM.
Where: Bangkok, Thailand in a Town.
Appearance: Red with black mandibles and “Striped” Gasters.
Behaviour: She moves around a lot inside the test tube. Also tries to bite out of the cotton.

Additionally: She looks like Solenopsis Geminata. I don’t know.

Additionally: She looks like Solenopsis Geminata. I don’t know.

Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

I caught her earlier than her usual nuptial flight though (according to antwiki.com).
But I have heard ants fly earlier in urban areas.

Wow, Thank You! I was confused at first when I caught her. I have actually caught two. Well, is Solenopsis a difficult species to keep?

I have watched AntsCanada’s “My Fire Ants Are Planning an Escape” Video. They are a fascinating species.
