Size: 1,1 cm long

When: At around 11am in the morning

Where: Greece -> Crete

Appearance: She has tiny hair all over her body. From what I could count, her antenna have 12 small segments plus the big one that connects to the head. Also, the antennae are longer than her head. She appears to be bluish with black, has wing scars on her thorax and large eyes.

Behaviour: The calmest queen ant I have ever handled. Before I picked her up she would constantly stop for a while before moving again. She didn't mind getting picked up and explored the bottle I put her in at first before settling right on top of the cap without moving around again. When I took the cap off to take pictures of her, she didn't panic at all. She stayed in place. Putting her in the test tube was a bit tough as she could sort of see it and tried avoiding it, but again, she didn't make any sudden movements or run around. Currently she is once again remaining calm inside her test tube, no attempts at breaking out and she isn't bothered by light.
