Size: 10-11mm? moved too much for perfect measurements.
When: I found her sometime between May and June I believe.
Where: Near Vernon BC on the sidewalk near a park.
Appearance: Fully black ant, looks like the kind of carpenter ants I see around but looking for a name.
Behavior: She was pretty freaked when I got her, calmed down and didn't move much until her first workers, just stays in nest chamber now but is active.
