i caught a new queen today. So by the title it seems i already know what species of ant it is. however here is the problem: i dont know if Formica neogagates live in michigan. i googled it and most of the searches were about killing ants
im pretty sure its a Formica neogagates by matching it with google pictures but if you guys know or can somehow find some info, then it would be appreciated.

Here is a link to a map that shows where specific species of ants live! Just make sure you select "SPECIES RANGE MAPS" it the top right.
