I have found some large ants, I’m not sure if they’re queens. I found them in Iowa just today i have what look to be 2 carpenter ants and one fire ant, can anyone tell me if they are queens, pictures on my instagram https://instagram.com/ants_critters_and_more?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

It would be better if you made your own topic for this. Also could you maybe use google photos or imgur? I don't have an Instagram account so that makes it hard to use. Also, there are no fire ants in Iowa. Unless you would be talking about Myrmica, they're not true fire ants, but some people call them that.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
