June 22/2022 Thailand Phuket, queen ID request.
I have caught two queens whom I believe belong to the genus Cataulacus, I will be separating these queens, by calling one queen A and the other queen B. Queen A is about 6-7mm in length and is full on black, I believe she is Cataulacus granulatus. Queen B is 9-10mm and is also colored black until you reach her underside, it looks like she has orangish hair coming out there, it can also be seen at her neck. This reminds me of Calyptomyrmex, I believe they cover their bodies in dirt and that hairs stick to it, maybe my queen B has something similar going for her. Link: https://imgur.com/gallery/ql6DkBh
Keeping:
• Cataulacus granulatus x2
• Camponotus parius
• Odontomachus sp x4
• Pheidole prava x1
• Pseudoneoponera sp x1
• Cataulacus granulatus x2
• Camponotus parius
• Odontomachus sp x4
• Pheidole prava x1
• Pseudoneoponera sp x1

A little fluon and they don’t go anywhere, I keep them in tubes due to the fast rate at which they grow… especially with 4 queens…JaydenScheepers wrote: ↑Sat Jun 25, 2022 4:19 amAh thanks, how's solenopsis? Is that any sort of jelly, like the jelly you would make at home, or does it have to be a certain kind?
