Dear all, i am Loh, new to Ant keeping world.
I found this ant in Pulau Pinang, Malaysia on 30th of October.
Their photos are as attached here: https://imgur.com/a/g5I0nnr

They have rather big head, lines on abdomen.
I found them on their ant hill beside a bridge. They all looks rather inactive, moving very slow and small area only (hence i can get clearer picture). Not like other species i found at the same place, which were very active.
Hope this info helps to identify its species.
Thanks in advance.

Macrotermes carbonarius, not an ant but a large black fungus-eating termite. This is one of the species of termites that don't eat wood.
