Weird Looking Golden Ant Thing

Hello!! and hi!!

good day and good night to everybody reading this topic,recently i found bug that look like an ant..and i'm curious is it infact ant or maybe even a queen...here take a look

it has gold and shiny kinda color in it's tail and in it's body...the body doesn't look like an ant queen but i don't know...

so

I know it's late but I had to quickly think about what I should give my ants for their birthday and also quickly prepare it.

Anyway, that ant is a Polyrhahis dives worker.

yeah a new formicarium should do...or maybe a new outworld...by the way i only found one P.dives worker...you have any idea where the nest would be?

yeah a new formicarium should do...or maybe a new outworld...by the way i only found one P.dives worker...you have any idea where the nest would be?
Maybe. I already gave them some food they never eaten before (explained in the post about it) but they do need a new formicarium soon. So does my Lepisiota rothneyi and Meranoplus bicolor which are having their birthdays later in the year.

Their nests can be underground or on the trees as they are a species of weaver ant. Different species of Polyrhahcis nest in different places.
