My queen first worker

My Camponotus queen got her first worker.

Colorado, I caught her in late-June

This picture is of the queen it looks like campo novaeboracensis, but she only looks like this under extreme light until yesterday I had never seen any red on her.

She may also be Camponotus herculeanus.

That could make sense the images of herculeanus look very similar, but I can't find an image of a herculeanus queen from the top that the red/orange looks so vibrant also the legs of herculeanus are very orange and my queen doesn't seem to have orange legs. Thank you for your reply.
