Hello everyone!
Last fall, I caught a bunch of small black queen ants, and they didnt show any signs of laying eggs last year, so I Hibernated them and when they woke up this year they started laying eggs. Not sure what species they are.
As I said in the post title I caught them in southern Ontario, Canada.
The queens are about 9-10mm and the workers are ~4 mm.
Thanks for the help in advanced!

Crematogaster sp. Also, queens caught at late fall (autumn) usually wait until spring to lay eggs.
