hello guys.

I'm new to ant keeping.

now is the nuptial flight season in my country and I caught two ants that i think is queens, but I'm not 100% sure.

so please help me identify these ants because if they are not queens i need to set them free.

Those are infact queens, both are something from the genus camponotus. Have a look at antmaps.org they can show you what species of camponotus live in your area.
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
[Have a look at antmaps.org]
