Why'd you use cushion stuffing? Who knows what kinds of contaminants that stuff has.

I thought I meant I needed to put stuff in there from time again for her to feed. I read that they like small space since they are usually in wood.

Could I tape two test tubes togther and have one with food and dirt etc etc.

That's what I did with my only Ponera queen to have survived past the pupal founding stage. Sadly, she was not mated.

No, he can just stuff the food into the tube. Also, these don't use sugar

What I did is put some dirt in the tube, and push the cotton in a little to squeeze some water into the dirt (this species loves moisture). Before I put the dirt in, I put it in the toaster oven at 200 degrees Fahrenheit so it wouldn't grow mold.
