Never saw this species before, worker ID anyone?
This is a worker we caught in the Ottawa/Gatineau area of Quebec, Canada and imaged for ID because she was so strange, with a red/red/black color scheme.
It would be great if anyone could shed light on her species or even genus because then we could look up when the nuptial flight may be.
Imagine getting some queens!

Looks a lot like Formica sp.
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
[Have a look at antmaps.org]

I think it is definitely camponotus or carpenter ant related species for sure.
