Any ideas of what species this might be?
There are pictures of the queen her along with some from about 5 weeks in with some hatched brood, and one (unlucky) girl that I tried saving from a honey drop she was drowning in, but ended up squashing her under the microscope by accident. I did get some great shots of her though....

Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
