Jij hebt hier te veel plezier in =/. en ik dacht zelf dat het een kale bosmier is. Maar deze zijn beschermd in belgie, droefnis.

Beschermd als in die mag je niet als kolonie houden? De kans dat ze in gevangenschap opgroeien is stukken hoger dan in het wild.

Well that's your fault for not being part of the civillized world lol. He suspects that his queen is actually an endagered species in Belgium. Which means that by law he isn't allowed to keep a colony. We were debating whether his species is the 'hairy' wood ant or the 'bald' wood ant. Formica rufa ór polyctena I am not sure whether or not the latter is also protected by law in his country, but the difference between them is minimal. You could easily mistake one for the other...
