Hey everyone! So, I’m VERY new to ant keeping. However, I am super excited to get started and have been doing SO much research. As the subject states, I caught my very FIRST Queen, assuming it is in fact a Queen, today, 19 May 2020. So, I think she is a Solenopsis invicta. I live in East-Central Louisiana. Here are a few pictures, I’ll try and get some more if needed. If she is in fact a recently bred RIFA, how long should I expect to have before she should be ready to move her colony into an actual Formicarium? Everything I’ve read says they multiply at an astonishing rate.

Unfortunately your pictures are not zoomed in enough to help you identify the queen in question. You can upload pictures to imgur.com and then copy paste the BBCode into the text of your next post.
As for moving them into a formicarium, I'd wait until she has at least 30 workers
