Queen Ant???

Anyone knows what this is lmk. Might not even be a queen for all I know. Caught may 15. Pennsylvania

That is definitely a queen, however species I'm not sure as im not familiar with your area, i live in Canada BC so I'm have no idea what is native where you are. However that looks to be some sort of camponotus Queen, I'm assuming she's quite large in size compared to other ants. If you could measure her that would be cool. You'll have to get another opinion if you want the exact species name, i can only give you general information if you don't live near or in a similar area, hope this helps somewhat.

Oh word yeah that’s helpful just knowing it’s a Queen. I don’t really need to know exactly what species I was just curious. It is massive tho for an ant I thought it was a wasp at first
