Pics 1-3 are of 1 species that I caught 3 of today
They are all roughly 1.3 cm all 3 still have wings but were caught nowhere near a colony of that type.

Pics 4 and 5 are of a solenopsis queen (I think its solenopsis and also this looks like the queen in pics 6-9 but the gaster looks different) that is 8mm

Pics 6-9 are of a solenopsis species (also just speculation) that I caught 2 of. They are both roughly 9mm

They were all caught in riverside CA the day after a rainstorm

Nice haul!

The queen(s) in the first two images are Pogonomyrmex rugosus. The third image is also Pogonomyrmex, but is she a different color? or is the lighting weird?

Images four through six look like the dark variant of Solenopsis xyloni.

And the remainder are Solenopsis xyloni or Solenopsis invicta.

Thanx! The pogo pic was just lighting and the other ones are most likely xyloni because I caught one a week or so ago and they look just like it.

Which brings my total queen count to 9!
Also there might be more later on as I am going to take my dog for a walk and I always bring tubes so look out for more queens at like 7 or 8 o'clock tonight ( my timezone is PST so I think for you it'd be like 9 or 10 o'clock )
