Ant Queen ID from Denver, CO

Greetings! I just recently (1 1/2 weeks ago) caught a queen ant while pulling up some plants in my garden. Looks like she was just beginning to create her claustral cell next to my garlic roots.

Here she is 1.5 weeks on in her test-tube setup with her clutch of recently laid eggs. I collected her from Denver, Colorado, U.S.A. on April 11th, and I would love to know what species the community thinks tis is.

Thanks for replying, her total body length is roughly 9mm (or 0.35 inches) with a roughly 3mm wide abdomen/gaster.

With those measurements you could probably rule out Camponotus. Not sure what she is. Maybe some kind of Lasius?

As far as know what to do with ants, I'm better there. Knowing what they are, oof, not so much.

lasius flavus is not actually native to north America so it has to be Lasius neoniger
