Inquiry about an unknown "ant" in Italy - 03.21.2020

I live in the north of Italy, near Milan.
I was walking around my own garden on the 21st of March and I’ve found this particular kind of insect that resembled a lot an ant but it was way bigger than any ant I’ve ever seen!
It was around 30mm long and had a bit of a shine like a scrabble. She seemed to have a pair of wings on the lower part of her body, but she never "spread" them. So they looked like almost a princess gown (lol).
She also kept trying (with a lot of difficulty and unsuccessfully) to climb the wall. It looked like her body weighted too much for her own legs.

I managed to take some pics with my phone, but I can't attach them...feel free to explain to me how to do it too! (Yes, I compressed them to 126KB and tried to add it as an attachment)

I’d be curious to find out what kind of insect it is, if you know it.

I thank you in advance for your kind answer and for possibly satisfying my curiosity!

In Italia, you can't see a queen ant of 30 mm.

Maybe some specie of bee or wasp ?

I'm sure it wasn't a bee nor a wasp.
