Hello! We found a queen near a Lasius Neo Niger colony while my girlfriend was looking for pupae.
They are about seven to eight mm in length. They are dark redish brown in color with slightly orangish copperish legs.
We live in South Western Centralish Indiana.

Re: Queen ant identification
I answered this in the other topic.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
