Hey guys I’m trying to figure out what ant species I found. I found what I believe to be the queen, and of course plenty of workers. The possible queen, and alates have a brownish ring on their abdomen(gaster), as do some of the larger ants in the colony. The small workers have abdomens(gaster) resemble what I’ve found online like acrobatic ants. Also some of the small ant pointed their gaster up to sting like acrobatic ants do. Queen size is maybe 1/2 -3/4. Found in Memphis Tn area.

Re: Queen and worker I’d help
The last four pics seem to be workers of Solenopsis spp. (AKA Fire ants, red fire ants) and they do point their stingers up as well, as for the queen, the second picture doesn't seem to do much justice, but the first and the third seem to be a queen of Solenopsis spp. also red fire ant, and the size is okay also, I got a fire ant queen and the size is about the same. mine I got in late september, but it is rather slow... not a single worker yet, still almost close...
