I made another post about it earlier but it didnt catch on so hopefully this will work. I found this little gal in my bathroom last week, she hasn't lost her wings yet and unfortunately have her in a clean coke bottle with a wet cotton cork. I'd love some confirmation on the type of ant it is. I dont have the best picture as I dont want to disturb her very much but here it is I hope someone can help me I'm very new to all of this.

Sorry for taking this much time, I thought I had replied to your post, but I actually didn't... :(

Unfortunately the picture is a bit too blurry in order to be able to tell all her traits. Could you try to take some more please?

One thing that's pretty clear is her overall gaster shape though. I'll check some compatibilities as soon as I'll get home.

to me it looks abit tetramorium like but as above the pic is hard to make out the way she holds her gaster seems to fit see below

Image
1x Lasius Niger - early forging stage - 60-100 workers
1x Messor Barbarus - founding stage - <20 workers
1x Camponotus Turkestanus - claustral stage - 1 nanitic + brood
1x Odontoponera Transversa - semi-claustral stage - no eggs

Very useful image! Unfortunately the wings are blocking the upper section of her body in the picture. :(
