Cought in South East South Dakota mid September

I need some help identifing these ants. They are about 12-13mm I think

Definitely Camponotus, not queens though.

They could be Pennsylvanicus or Modoc if these major workers are that large. Every other species I looked up for your area are either much smaller, or have distinct colours and patterns.
