TLDR: Extremely fast moving, about the size of harvester ants, hairless. Colors: Pink, light red, yellow, dark brown.
I was walking my dog around the park and noticed a large trail of pink colored ants running along a curb. They look about the size of harvester ants (pogonomyrmex occidentalis) But move much faster, look lighter in color, and don't appear to have hairs on their body. They are mostly light red/pinkish, but some have hints of yellow and dark brown mixed in. I followed the trail and they seem to be nested underneath a large boulder. Massive amount of foraging workers make me believe this colony has survived through winter. One very noticeable trait is that they move insanely fast. Captured 2 workers to photograph and found out they are really hard to capture and handle.
This is the nest entrance under a large boulder

I've been doing some research, and made a shocking yet slightly disturbing find. AC family, could this be... The invasive Argentine ants? (Linepithema humile)
