Hello

I already did ask for for helping indetificate a black and and right atm as i wannted to ask i did find this one.

So maybe you can also holp me for this Ant :)

there i have also the question if they hate light. or if i can have here after some weeks on a trable to watch for the first worker.

sorry don't know what ants they are but to your question about light most ants don't like direct light into the nest but a lot of ants cant see red so people will use a red light to view a young colony or place see through red plastic over the nest, hope this helps

Myrmica sp ;) Don't worry about what species she is (maybe M. Rubra?), because most Myrmica queens behave the same. She is semi-claustral which means that you need to provide her food during the founding stage. A drop of honey and a small fruit fly once a week is enough. They also don't like light and vibrations, so keep her in the dark and try to not disturb her too often.
