I found this queen ant in southern Ontario. It has around 6 workers and a bunch of brood. Queen is around 4mm and workers are around 2mm. The queens abdomen is a bit dented but it has no sign of being hurt. Can anyone tell me what species they are?

Could you please provide us with some pictures? (You can't upload them to this server even though it seems that way when you write a post) Create an imgur account (free and no watermarks in your pics) and then use the direct link. Paste this between the markers

Immediately after you post a post, a pencil symbol will show up on the top right-hand corner. Clicking on that allows you to alter your last post. You can not alter older posts as far as I am aware.

You are missing a bracket at the end tag [ right after .jpg
