I caught a possible queen ant in Belgium on 30/6 and am wondering what species she is. I managed to take a good enough picture for an approximate ID. I tried it myself but I can't pin it down, not even on a family.
The picture is in the link below, some extra I formation is included above and under the picture.

Thanks for the help!

Re: Queen ant identification
not 100% but i'm thinking maybe Tetramorium caespitum?
1x Lasius Niger - early forging stage - 60-100 workers
1x Messor Barbarus - founding stage - <20 workers
1x Camponotus Turkestanus - claustral stage - 1 nanitic + brood
1x Odontoponera Transversa - semi-claustral stage - no eggs

Look at you identifying ants and everything! I think you might be right with Tetramorium caespitum.LasiusSapien wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 8:43 amnot 100% but i'm thinking maybe Tetramorium caespitum?
