Found the queens, like 40 of them and all are producing eggs. I accidentally left the first few together and noticed they were cooperating to take care of brood. I have an idea on what they are but want a few extra opinions. [ https://youtu.be/fjjMFoZgGc8 youtube][/youtube]

yes very much so, i wonder did the op find said ants in the street, perhaps could be something like Tetramorium caespitum aka the pavement ant that's sidewalk for you meri people
1x Lasius Niger - early forging stage - 60-100 workers
1x Messor Barbarus - founding stage - <20 workers
1x Camponotus Turkestanus - claustral stage - 1 nanitic + brood
1x Odontoponera Transversa - semi-claustral stage - no eggs

They were found mainly on pavement, though due to the size I'm not sure if I'd see if they were in grass. I can confirm that they're ant nests that live between cracked pavement near one site I caught the queens.

Then it is Tetramorium. I thought it was Pheidolie because the queen was too big for Tetramorium
