How can you find a lot of workers but not brood? Just move some rocks. I guess you could brood boost but worker boosting does work. Before you even begin I would research a bit more as there is some methods to increase chances of success

I agree with this, as Lasius umbaratus is a difficult spices to raise.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

Sadly the Lasius *** SPAM *** queen died but then I went to Germany and found another one sadly she died aswell which was a pity as I was expecting have some brood from Lasius Niger at home :( I got a solinopsis fugax tho but it is sad that she dued as I was looking forward to raising Lasius umbaratus.
