how are you going to transfer them? Especially the one that started laying, I was wondering how I would go about mine, since I'm afraid she will eat the eggs instead of transporting them, even if she accepts the new setup to move there freely to begin with

Connect the old setup to the new test tube. Cover the new tube, so it is dark. Place both setup somewhere so you can shine a light at the old one. Turn on the light and check in a couple of hours. You'll probably find she moved into the new tube and transported all her brood. Plug the new tube with cotton and you're all done.

Already updated on the Ant Care and Ant Keeping but I'll update here as well.

I managed to find some larger test tubes, and I've already made the attachment that will connect the hold test tube to the new one, but I'm afraid of stressing the queen to much so I'm reticent to expose her to light, her being in her setup for only a couple of days...

What do you think I should do? Should I transfer her now or wait something like a week or 2 so she can calm down? I have no idea if she is already laying eggs or not but I doubt it

Here is the attachment if any of you want to take a look at it

to take the chance to feed her some honey on the hold setup, and in an hour or so after attach the new test tube, get it done with xD that way the remaining honey will be left in the hold one and she will get some extra energy, hopefully won't be so stressed out

I'd place the honey in the new setup, and connect the 2. Although I doubt she will eat at this point to be honest. But it might just tempt her to transfer.
