im pretty sure the queen is prenelopis emperous(i dont know how to spell) or the winter ant. I had one a long time ago, looks exactly like it.

Found on July 2nd.
Size: 1/4 inch or 6.35 millimeters

Sorry I could get any clearer pictures. That's with the double magnification of a magnifying glass and full zoom in my phone.😟

My impression is it's a tetramorium. But I'm not so sure. Please help if you know!🤗🥳

I'm just thinking about starting an ant colony. I am delighted, I have never seen such large ants.
