Hi guys,

My queen still hasnt laid any eggs. Should I be worried? She's alive and kicking though.

Best regards,
Anton

Some times it takes weeks or even a month to lay eggs. Would not worry too much.

If Autumn is on the way in Northern Sweden, she might be waiting for next spring before she begins laying. Formica never keep brood over the winter.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.

Hm. If that's the case, do I need to do anything special? Feed her or something?
