Hey guys, i found this guy this morning (June 10th), on the beach in Orange Beach, Alabama. There were thousands of them out this morning! I know very little of species identification, and I watched some of AntsCanada's videos upon the subject but I found nothing conclusive. So, I thought I would reach out on here for help. She's about 12 mm in length and still has her wings. I hope these photos are good enough for you all to identify her.
Thanks for the help!
Would greatly appreciate help identifying this queen

What's her size in mm?

Pseudomyrmex queen, looks like Pseudomyrmex gracilis.

Just did a little research on this species, it says they do not like a lot of moisture, should I modify the standard test tube setup to accommodate this?TheRealAntMan wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2019 9:15 amPseudomyrmex queen, looks like Pseudomyrmex gracilis.

No, all she needs is a test tube and a small foraging area where you can give her food as she is semi-claustral
