Identifying is hard, help again please!

So I went back out today and caught another queen (hopefully not a male alate) the last 2 pictures linked are the queen and I’m having trouble identifying. She was caught in Kentucky USA on June 3 early afternoon and is about 1cm long.

The first set of pictures was a strange ant that I picked up but pretty sure isn’t a queen, except she has some odd markings that look like a “v” on her back that made me think it may be wing scars so picked her up too. You can’t really see the markings with the camera I’m using but can kind of see the dark sides of her thorax. Just curious what species she is since she looked pretty cool. She’s also about 1cm long. Any help would be appreciated.
