My best guess is Camponotus

Found my first ever queen today, this little lady is about 8mm. I think she may be some species of Camponotus, but any help will be appreciated.

Where are you from? That would really aid in identification. Also, that petiole doesn't look like Camponotus.

Maybe Tapinoma? Size is right, and they are flying here in Europe.
