I agree. What time of year did you catch this? That could help pin what it is.

I agree. What time of year did you catch this? That could help pin what it is.

It could also be a species of messor. I have never caught anything that looks like that though. However I said those answers because it reminds me of them ants. Also it could be a rare species!

If any of my answers are wrong, sorry. But from what I can work out it is a clausteral queen due to its large abdomin, that rules out some other species.

I did not think it was one of those because on the picture it was black. I don't know alot about IDing
