I have here two ants that I collected from Brazil. Both were collected on the same day, January 2, 2017 at Rosa de Saron in Brazil. Which is along the Manacapuru River, west of Manaus. I am curious as to their identification.
Ant 1 is 15mm in length. Collected in the morning as it was crawling on some wood, at the edge of the village, near the river.
Ant 2 is 20mm in length. Collected at night quickly crawling on the ground in the middle of the village.

You have to host the pictures on photobucket or imagur or another site like that. Than post the link here. Search this forum for how to post pictures if you can’t figure it out.
