Myrmecia?

Hi guys. I have seen this ant species 3 times near my back door and I don’t know what it is. I don’t know much about ants but have just gotten interested. The photo was taken 2nd March 2019 @ 13:00. The ant is about 15 to 20 mm long and it was out all by itself. Sorry the photo isn’t good, it was just taken with an iPhone 6.

Actually I now think it might be Myrmecia mandibularis
