Sparkly black ant, 1 cm?

Found in the dark at night on some wood, only saw two. Melbourne.

Looks like Rhytidoponera sp. to me. Would need a better pic. Most likely R. metallica due to the 'shiny' description.

Wow, maybe that is it!

If I find her again I will try to get a better photo.
