Hey,
Would someone be able to provide an ID on these queens? They are from an established colony.
We seem to be having a lot of these kind of ants around the house we are staying, after a feeding session in the kitchen, I noticed these two queens moving in from elsewhere towards the nesting location and I captured them.
Length of the queens, 'mandibles to butt' is about 5 mm

First off, very nice pictures! As for the ID, it is a Lasius species, but I will have to get back to you later on exactly which one.
First year and already enjoying it!
